Can't attach using AFP 5rc11

Featured Replies

I updated to unraid 5rc11.  I turned on AFP and turned off SMB.  I can't attach using Lion... any ideas?

Thanks

Kyle

Did you make sure that you enabled AFP in each of your shares as well?  If so make sure you made them public and not hidden.

Thanks that worked.  I have several 'shares' from days gone by.  Is there just a way to share the entire unraid array as a single disk?

Thanks again

Create an identical folder on each disk and move all the other folders into that folder, repeating the process for each disk. That new root folder on each disk will be your new single share that spans all drives. To accomplish this either temporarily turn on all the disk shares and move files over the network, or move the files around using midnight commander in a telnet or console session. Since you aren't actually moving files to different disks, the move should happen almost instantly.
