March 11, 201313 yr I was stopping the array in order to power down and check the cables inside my unraid box. The array is stuck at "Retry unmounting user shares", so I thought I'd check out the syslog in the meanwhile. However unmenu is not showing the last 6 lines of the syslog and if I download it, its blank! I would have attached a syslog, but like I said - it's blank!
March 11, 201313 yr Your array probably isn't unmounting because a plugin or something else has a file open. If a file is open unRAID is unable to unmount the disk.
March 11, 201313 yr Author I killed a process and unmounted. But I couldnt figure out why there was nothing being output to the syslog.
March 11, 201313 yr Hard to know, did you try accessing the file via the console? If you have any weirdness using one of the GUIs available your best bet is to check on the console to see if there's actually a problem, or the GUI is just behaving strangely.
