I'm thinking  if it would be posible to set up a RAID (raid1 ?) on a 1430SA and use this as my cahe disk.

 

Then I would be little safer of a disk would warn out  ;) maybe not in Rc11, but maybe it would be posible in newer version  ;D

 

I have 2 TOSHIBA_MK5056GSY that would be connected to my 1430SA

    Im using a RAID1 volume on an Areca controller. If it is possible on a 1430? If you can set up a RAID1 volume on it, I gues it should work.

    I and a few others use a RAID1 volume as cache disk. So yes, it can.

    I think a 1430sa is software raid ? If so no it can't be used. You need hardware raid card like the areca
