Hello All,

 

Has anyone attempted to use the iPhone app SubStream with their SubSonic setup??

 

I just setup SubSonic and it works just fine via Web browser.

 

I downloaded the SubStream app on iPhone (iPhone 5 latest iOS) and it connects, and shows all my music, but when i go to play a song, it gives an error:

 

FILE ERROR

Unable to configure network read stream.

 

 

then the app just hangs.

 

 

Anyone have any luck with this?

i have exactle the same problem.

 

The free app for iPhone is buggy, but work perfectly on my Android.

 

I will try to buy one and test it.

I ended up buying the "lite" version of iSub.....it worked...a little, but something caused an error on unRaid box as something broke my AirPlay application.

 

iSub was working..for most songs, but then i went to AirPlay to watch a show, and all files were showing invalid.  Log files seemed to show that either Java or FFMEPG failed.

For video why not use AirVideo and the AirVideo plugin? Granted the app costs money but it works flawlessly for me.

I have AirVideo for Movies...was looking for an audio solution.

 

I think i figued out the issue.....It appears to have been a Java issue.....wrong version of Jave installed, and then a corrupt plugin install left everything a mess.

 

Just got done restoring everything back to original unRaid install with just unMenu...then reloaded all plugins and configured from scratch (PAIN!!!)

 

Subsonic and AirVideo work like a charm now!
