March 24, 201313 yr I know this is likely a Windows problem, but I'm hoping someone else has had this problem. I have a laptop that constantly "loses" my unraid server. For instance, the laptop will find other computers on the network, but will not find the unraid server. However, I can manually enter in the server (i.e., by typing "\\server", where "server" is the name of my unraid server) and immediately find the server on the network. I've had one Windows Explorer seemingly searching the network, and I can open another instance of the Windows Explorer, type in "\\server", and the new instance immediately finds the server, while the old instance is still searching! Anyone have recommendations on how to fix this? Also, I have version 4.7 of the software. Is there a way I can hide the "drives" in the network view (of Windows Explorer for instance) and instead only see the shares? Is it time for me to upgrade my software from 4.7 to a new version? (The last time I was here, there seem to be tons of betas but no official release.) Thank you.
