PeterB
Why should I have to keep altering my time offset every time Daylight Saving Time changes in USofA? Where I am, we don't have DST but if I don't change the time, I find that all the posting times go out by one hour. It must be even more annoying for those in the southern hemisphere where DST is used. Why can't this forum just allow us to set our time zone like almost all other forums do? Quote Link to comment
prostuff1
Um... it does. Go to your profile and then "Look and Layout" Quote Link to comment
PeterB
I must be missing something then, all I see is a field which is titled thus: Time Offset: Number of hours to +/- to make displayed time equal to your local time. I can set this value to display the correct time in my browser. However, come a change in DST, the forum time changes and I have to adjust my offset. Where can I enter my TZ (with DST off) so that I always see the correct time without having to change the offset twice a year? Quote Link to comment
