I'm looking to upgrade my motherboard and CPU around $200 range with ram included

I currently have 11 drives running on old hardware from 2006 with 4gb ddr2 memory

I think it's time for an upgrade and want to be safe about it. Server runs 24/7

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated

...I'd go for an Ivy Bridge CPU.

Better overall Performance, lower TDP and less power-draw during idle.

than the price of the G860....the G2020 will match the G860 for sure, I think.

The IGP is of no real use anyways with unRAID, besides during boot-up.

Edit: for G860 and G2010, you only need DDR3-1333 RAM...only G870 and G2120/G2130 support the 1600 speed index natively

if you have a microcenter around or can order from there website they have the G550 and the G1610 for less than $35

microcenter nearest is a county over.

i went ahead and ordered from newegg.
