Ambitious piotr! I think webgui is fine, functionality matters most :) I wish we didn't have to rely on Simplefeatures, so that would be a way forward.

Why do you rely on simpleFeatures?

I'm hoping Tom will adapt my design as the primary GUI (in talks currently).

-1 for Desktop style (sorry piotrasd but I hate that.. ;) ), re using a more simplefeatures-like style (i.e. almost just apply some css etc to make current interface look better, etc...), IMO sure could be nice and probably very easy to do... but surely not the most important thing for unraid currently anyway...

I have to agree. Trying to present a faux desktop interface in the web browser makes things overly complicated. Especially for the feature set offered by unraid.

Agree -- I see no need for a "desktop" => in fact, the more focused, the better.    Personally, I'm fine with just the Web GUI plus UPS support (and e-mail notification would be nice).    But I do like the graphs in Simple Features, so perhaps a bit of pizzaz would be okay  :)

But definitely -1 for a desktop.
