[SOLVED] Using vmxnet3 nic for UnRAID nic

Featured Replies

Is it possible to use the vmxnet3 nic option for UnRAID.  Since it's considered a 10Gb/s connection and I have dual nics setup within ESXi.  I was wondering if I could get some additional bandwidth after teaming those NICs using the vmxnet3 nic.

as far as i know vmxnet3 driver was added in rc5 and works out of the box. i'm using it in my unraid vm (ESXi 5.0U2) without problems.

cheers

Yes it works, plenty of posts here in the forums about it.
