March 31, 201313 yr I'm seeing a ton of dropped rx packets. Does anyone know why or what this means. I can't mount any of my unRaid disks or access unMenu. I am assuming this is my problem. eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 10:78:d2:1e:82:53 inet addr:192.168.1.150 Bcast:192.168.1.255 Mask:255.255.255.0 UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:138896 errors:0 dropped:430 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:194864 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:17854288 (17.0 MiB) TX bytes:264854284 (252.5 MiB) Interrupt:43 Base address:0x2000
April 1, 201313 yr Try a new ethernet, cable, port, switch, etc. However, the dropped packets are not the cause of the access problem. Can you ping the ip address of the server? Can you ping the client from the server? Can you ping the router?
