March 31, 201313 yr After I had betrayed my failing faith...in this post => http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=26810.0 ...UNRAID must have sensed it, because now UNRAID won't give me any connection to it at all. (And I am sorry UNRAID, please forgive me). I managed to grab the syslog, as attached One thing... when getting to the syslog typing on the console was painfully slow... the response could be 20 seconds for a typed letter to appear. I tried to perform a ChkDsk on the Flash drive, but it claims that the flashdrive is write protected...does this give any clues ? Any ideas ? Grabbing my Valium.... but I have an 8 am flight tomorrow morning..... syslog1.txt
March 31, 201313 yr It looks as though the Ethernet link is having issues. You might want to check a cable has not come loose, and perhaps try rebooting your router.
March 31, 201313 yr Author I have done this. No difference... but thanks for the suggestion. I have copied the unraid system from one flash drive to another... but no change. [update] OK....I changed out my motherboard.... out with the Asus C60M in with the old Gigabyte 780G. The system came up....so this means that the Asus is cooked ?? Can't explain it... the only change I recently made was to connect up a couple of fans to the board.... and of course bring online my new WD RED 3TB. Perplexed....
March 31, 201313 yr You keep going back to issues with the flash drive. I would format it (make sure you keep a copy of the registration key file), download and install a fresh version of unRAID, put the key file back and try that. A messed up flash drive has been known to cause a number of silly issues that just won't go away. If you're trying to run any plugins - don't until the basic system has proven to be stable.
