April 6, 201313 yr Hi All, I (think I) have UnMenu Transmission installed and cannot workout how to tell it which folder to look in for the torrent files in order to start the download. From the Transmission settings page, what is my "Data Directory"? Is the plugin folder? Is this the folder that Transmission looks for the torrent files in? What would the filepath look like? From the Transmission webgui - If my download folder is located @ "//Downloads", what do I put in the "Download to" box? Again, what would the filepath look like - do I have to put in some other directories before it? I am a fan uTorrent personally. Is there an addon for it and is there a recent good guide on how to set it up?
April 6, 201313 yr Use the plugin from the plugin design forum section. It is better maintained than the unmenu packages and more support is offered.
April 6, 201313 yr If you want it to auto load .torrent files from a specific folder you will need to edit the settings.json file, as the option is not available in the GUI like it is in uTorrent. It's in the transmission wiki on its website, but let me check mine and ill copy it in here.... *EDIT* - "watch-dir": "wherever you want it, mine is set to /mnt/user/Dropbox/Transmission", "watch-dir-enabled": true "watch-dir": "/mnt/user/Dropbox/Transmission", "watch-dir-enabled": true For the download folder //downloads is the default location but doesn't work with unraid. You will need to change that to one of your shares. For example I have a torrent share and so I point transmission to /mnt/user/Torrents Data directory is where transmission installs itself, he is my configuration:
