Existing shares don't see new drive

Featured Replies

I recently added a third drive to my array.

It seems I was wrong in thinking that the existing shares would recognize the new drive and expand into it as space was needed. I went through my share settings and made sure all 3 disks were selected for use, changed my split level to 4 and set all shares to high water mark. I have stopped and restarted the array and still none of the shares seem to see the new hard drive (compute size ignores the new drive - windows available on the mapped drive ignores it).

I'm very out of my element with Unraid and am sure I am missing something simple  :P. Please help!

I figured I was missing something simple.

I had to change the shares setting under the settings tab, other settings, share settings and add the new disk there. I'm not sure i this is specific to the simple features add-on, but I am using it. Hope this helps someone in the future
