April 10, 201313 yr When I was on RC5 everything worked fine after updating when my time machine runs it gets to about 400MB backed up and then errors out saying it lost connection. I have had a ton of issues with AFP ever since updating to the point where I have disabled AFP on all shares except the Time Machine share. It is set up as a single disk share only being broadcast on AFP with a user. I have already gone through and deleted the .apple files and restarted both the computer and the server but still get the same errors. One other thing is I cannot connect to any AFP stuff once this happens without stopping and restarting AFP. I am on OSX 10.6.8 Hopefully I can get some help on this.
