April 15, 201313 yr After installing the SimpleFeatures 1.0.11 plugins my Array would not start up from a boot to fix this I had to remove out the Email notifications and the Web Server plugin to get it to come back up. I found the issue to be a conflict with Sabnzbd plugin. SabNZBD wants the following <FILE Name="/boot/packages/openssl-0.9.8r-i486-3.txz" Run="upgradepkg --install-new"> <URL>http://slackware.cs.utah.edu/pub/slackware/slackware-13.37/slackware/n/openssl-0.9.8r-i486-3.txz</URL> <MD5>dd6ef02ebfe3e54fc54c03a52f736197</MD5> </FILE> and </FILE> <FILE Name="/boot/packages/sqlite-3.7.5-i486-1.txz" Run="upgradepkg --install-new"> <URL>http://slackware.cs.utah.edu/pub/slackware/slackware-13.37/slackware/ap/sqlite-3.7.5-i486-1.txz</URL> <MD5>6786d3764cb294ecb71cdd24e6d171d1</MD5> </FILE> SimpleFeatures wants openssl-1.0.1c-i486-3.txz and sqlite-3.7.14.1-i486-1.tx To fix this issue I removed Openssl from Sabnzbd plugin and then removed the sqlite from Simplefeatures webserver. so I was both the later version, and then restarted all comes up with no issues.
April 25, 201313 yr I am currently having an issue with email notifications being sent out from sabnzbd. And I was wondering if this issue could be causing the problem. You said you "removed" 1 file from each, could you be more specific? I'm not exactly sure what you meant or how to go about doing it. ( I have both Influencer Sabnzbd and Simple Features 1.0.11). Problem: The Email Sender, Acc. User Name and Acct. Password do not save when I configure them in sab. It says that it saves, but when I navigate away from Notifications and back to it, all 3 fields are gone. I went into the .INI to configure it myself. Acct. Username and password saved, but still not the sender. When I click on test email, it says the email is sent but its not. If I look at the log the last thing it has is INFO::[api:647] Sending testmail and in the error log the last section is raise FatalSSLAlert(*e.args) FatalSSLAlert: [('SSL routines', 'SSL23_WRITE', 'ssl handshake failure')] Which is why I'm hoping this might be the issue. Thoughts? Thanks in advanced
April 27, 201313 yr Author I have attached mine for you In a nut shell though I deleted this out of the sabnzbd_unplugged.plg <FILE Name="/boot/packages/openssl-0.9.8r-i486-3.txz" Run="upgradepkg --install-new"> <URL>http://slackware.cs.utah.edu/pub/slackware/slackware-13.37/slackware/n/openssl-0.9.8r-i486-3.txz</URL> <MD5>dd6ef02ebfe3e54fc54c03a52f736197</MD5> </FILE> and in the SImpleFeatures plugin I deleted the reference to the file for sqlite, rebooted and all was good, I could have also just simply updated the file dependency reference to the newer versions also. but as I will be keeping these plugins going forward I was happy to just delete the reference from each individual one. April 27, 201313 yr Thanks! Do I have to re-install the plugins and restart the server, or just replace the old .plg files?
April 27, 201313 yr Author overwite the plugins and restart your Unraid box, mine are in /boot/config/plugins or if doing it from windows /flash/config/plugins
April 27, 201313 yr Author Just to note you are using SimpleFeatures 1.0.10 correct? as when I installed those with Sab running the old version of OpenSSL my array would not even start until I made this tweak.
April 27, 201313 yr Author thats fine, noticed just the web server plugin is still 1.0.10, simply overwrite and reboot and you should be all good
April 27, 201313 yr Well I replaced the .plgs and restarted, everything seems to be working the same, but it didnt fix my Sab email notification issue. Maybe something is wrong with the pluggin. Im not sure.
April 27, 201313 yr Author Mine works just fine just tested sending an email from within Sab, I am using gmail for this, what are you using?
April 28, 201313 yr I am using gmail as well. I think I got it. In the Sab I had on my desktop I didn't need to fill out the "Email Sender" with an email address and my "Acct. User Name" was only SOMEONE noy [email protected]. I switched it all to my email address and it seems to be working. The test email went out so the rest should follow now. Thanks for all your help.
