Enabling user shares

Featured Replies

I'm a happy Unraid user for about 2 years now running 5.0 beta14. Like this fellow here http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=20375.0 I negelected to configure users shares when I got Unraid going. I have a free version running and want to step up to a licenced version and a cache disk. I've been running as root all this time in my ignorance.  My share setup is simple with 3 top level folders, but when I examine the drives 2 shares are spread across 2 drives.

Can I just add a user and retain the same share structure? any help is appreciated.

Yes. After you have users you will be able to set the type of access each user has to each share, but the shares will not change.
