web server wont start

Featured Replies

I just tried to enable the web server under settings.  i set up a user share called webServer and told it not to export.  I set the web root directory to /mnt/user/webServer and set the listening port to 81 and of course set web server function to "Enabled" and when I click apply it saves the settigns but still says the web server is stopped.  and it is not serving up any pages so i guess it is right.  Why cant I get the web server to start up?

any ideas on how to troubleshoot this??

Do you mean the SimpleFeatures web server? Here is the support thread.

i dont know - is that part of simpleFeatures?  Its the one under Settings, web server.

I have posted another question there about simplefeatures and havent really gotten any response. :(

unRAID doesn't come with a webserver so you must have installed it. The only one I know of that is installable as a plugin is the SimpleFeatures webserver so that must be it if it appears on the Settings page.

You may have some conflict with another plugin. What else did you install? Reading through the thread I linked is probably your best bet.

It must be the simplefeatures plugin then.  I installed simplefeatures almost immediately after upgrading to 5.x so i didn't realize that the web server was actually part of SF.

Sorry bout that.

Other plugins I have installed are:

CouchPotato

Transmission

Plex

APC
