Disk2 failed but cannot access apps/plugins on cache drive

Featured Replies

hello all, I am wondering if this is normal operation or is there some underlying issue?

Disk2 failed again today, I was able to bring it back to life 2 months ago using info found on this forum but its down for the count now im pretty sure. I have another one on order coming tomorrow.

I am wondering though how come I cannot access any apps I have installed on the cache drive if disk2 is the one that is bad? Cache drive is coming up as empty but my other shares seem to be intact. The error im getting in my browser is a cherrypy internal server error.

Can I ask what application is throwing the cherrypi error? I presume sickbeard/sabnzbd? Have you tried telnetting/sshing in and trying /mnt/cache? What about restarting? What about reading the cache in another computer?

FYI, no, it's not normal, at-least, it didn't happen to me.
