Hi there and i'd like to welcome myself to unraid. That done, i have a few questions that i hope there are some good people here can help me with.

i'm running the latest beta release of 5 unraid .12 i think it's called on a hp microserver n54l. Currently it has 4 x 2 tb drives in the bays.

i have another 2tb drive i'd like to utilise as well as a 2.5 inch 160gb drive purloined from my old macbook, i'd like to add the 2tb to my eventual array and use the laptop drive as an apps/cache drive, what hardware (cables, drive caddies etc...) do i require for this ?

i'm hoping to run sabnzbd, couch potato , sickbeard and headphones on this server unit, which brings me to my next question, is the 2gb of ram that came with the unit sufficient for this ?

also i have a netgear readynas and wd live on my network that both have tv shows and movies on them, rather than move everything on to my unraid, i'm hoping that it's possible to mount network shares on the unraid server and have sickbeard be able to write to them to keep my shows on them updated, any new shows i add being added to the unraid, is this doable ?

finally i'm somewhat intrigued by ethernet bonding as i have seen it as an option in the webgui, if i were to add a dual nic in one of the pci slots on the n54 would be there much to gain in throughput to and from my network ? my network as is consists of an airport extreme running my dhcp, bridged to my internet connection and providing wireless throughout my house, my n54 is plugged directly into one of its ethernet ports, then i have netgear 8 port gigabit ethernet switch plugged in to another of the airports ports, the switch has two mac mini's and the other two nas's i mentioned earlier connected to it, all wired connections being gigabit.

thanks for any help and sorry about the run on sentences.

Bonding will only help if a second machine also is bonding and the network path between them is also bonded (or they're on the same switch). Or if you have multiple concurrent clients accessing the server. The Ethernet switch must also support bonding.
