Here is my server, still early days:

server.thumb.jpg.1c0c0b6e5a2c2b50781cabf0e892428f.jpg

I plan to have the same hot swap bays on the right as it does on the left.

It can hold a total of 14 drives :D 10 HotSwap and 4 internal.

Currently have:

1 x WD Red 3TB Internal (Parity)

2 x SanDisk 480GB SSDs Internal (Cache Pool)

4 x WD Red 3TB HotSwap

It's running of an Intel i7 4770 and 32GB of RAM.

Here’s my AIO rig. 34TB Array, 2 480GB cache and a 512 NVME running my vm Win 10 in unassigned devices doing IOMMU passthrough.  I know, I have to reroute the USB front header cable or move to the last 1x PCI-E. SpaceInvaderOne inspired me with the videos.

This is in a cooler master mastercase maker 5. Still have space for 2 more under the shroud by PSU.61E845CD-A189-4294-85D7-5CBE2A35DEA9.thumb.jpeg.83216be41d3fb6053dfa5fcf87fd0c7f.jpeg

@tmoran000 out of curiosity, what rails did you use for the Rosewill Chasis? It looks like it sits about a quarter to half inch off of the standard "U"

I used these"

Rosewill Server Rack Rails/Server Slide Rails/Server Rails, 26" Three Section Ball-Bearing Sliding Server Rail Kit (RSV-R27LX)" , This is the chasis "Rosewill 4U Server Chassis/Server Case/Rackmount Case, Metal Rack Mount Computer Case support with 15 bays & 7 Fans Pre-Installed (RSV-L4500)" .  all parts ordered on Amazon including rack.   Ya its sitting a half U out because I originally intended to run cables out the gap but decided not to and the server is so heavy to lift my self. Just havent gotten any help to correct the gap yet. :)

This is mine server/desktop.

its water cooled so it is a bit less noisier, especially the Asus strix vega64 is with the stock cooler a bit too noisiest....

i am using it as een server best it also host my daily VM and a second VM for Win10 Gaming, but with the know reset bug from the vega i currently use the daily VM (bold share the same cores en Vega64)

slowly upgrading the hdd's, its 71% full, but i think that i first swap the sas/sata card out from a Non-marvel controller card. (its works fine now)

Somebody else who labels the drives, except I use the serial number, that way in unraid I can be absolutely sure I pull the right drive in the vent of a failure,
