May 9, 201313 yr I am having an odd problem with my unraid server (parity+1 drive). Whenever the network is interrupted (power glitch, remove cable, etc) I can no longer connect to the server using the gui. I can still telnet into the box, so I launched unmenu. When I try to stop the array, it locks up too and locks up my telnet session. After this, there is no further external access. The first time this happened, I did a cable swap to a new port on my switch. I finally had to perform a hard power cycle. When it came back, I rechecked the pairity (no problems). It worked fine until the next storm glitched my router. Unraid is on UPS, but the router is not, so it cycled. Same sequence of events. No GUI, unmenu, lockup. Any suggestions? I don't like power cycling to recover.
May 9, 201313 yr Author I forgot to provide the version. 5.0-rc11. I use simple features as my main gui.
May 9, 201313 yr I use simple features as my main gui. That very well may be the issue. Try completely removing simple features and see if the problem persists.
May 9, 201313 yr Author Would it disable all the simple features if I just shut down, rename the plugins folder on the flash and reboot? Should I then run unmenu or will a default menu come up?
