New Server - Question on log

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I set up my first Server and it seems like everything is working smoothly.

Right now I am preclearing my first 2 disks and playing with the WebGUI.

I tried to setup the Mail Notification and had a look into the Syslog, when I found this.

This exact same code is running every second, 2 seconds for hours already.

Is this normal? Should I change something?

Thanks in advance

It's having trouble reading your flash drive. Put it in another computer and run chkdisk on it.

Thank you, I will do that when I get home.

Edit: I need to wait for the preclear script to finish 2 more runs. Is it okay for the use drive to wait until then?

Thanks, so as Joe L. stated in that thread it is completely normal to get this error if there are no disks assigned to the array.

Which is my situation right now.

Cheers
