supermicro AOC-SAS2LP-H8IR IT mode

Hi,

 

i have got a  supermicro raid controller and i want to use it in my private ZFS build storage server,

but it seems that this card cant do JBOD or IT mode. i am new to this raid cards with SAS2108 controller

any help would be appreciated! but its very strange i cant find this card on supermicro web site

    I believe this controller is listed on SuperMicro's site as the AOC-USASLP-H8iR.

     

    Assuming that's correct, here's the manual: http://www.supermicro.com/manuals/other/AOC-USASLP-H8iR.pdf

     

    However, it does NOT apparently support JBOD mode.  The full set of automatic and manual configuration options are described in detail in Chapter 6 ... and there is no mention of JBOD configurations or a disk pass-through mode.
