MvL
Hi, I'm testing AFP at the moment on my unRaid server. If you run "the new permission" script this are the settings: Directories=drwxrwxrwx owner=nobody group=users files=.rw.rw.rw. owner=nobody group=users When coping files from a Mac Mini to a afp share on the unRAID server this are the settings: Directories=drwxrwsrwx owner=marcel group=users files=.rw.rw.rw. owner=marcel group=users With other words the permission settings become a bit messy. Is this harmful? Can i prevent this from happening? Quote Link to comment
dgaschk
It's normal. The value for owner should not matter. AFP permissions are separate from Linux permissions. Quote Link to comment
MvL
a bit of a late reply. Sorry. Thanks for clarifying. Quote Link to comment
