May 23, 201313 yr I'm running the latest unRAID rc with sab/sick/couch's data directory on a cache only share. Is there a reason to use the SABtoCouchpotato script instead of pointing Couchpotato’s post processing option to the completed SAB directory? I'm using the SABtoSick script in Sickbeard but couldn't find a up to date tutorial for Couchpotato so I set it up myself, I dind't use the script and it seems to be working the same as Sickbeard. My directory structure is below. I created a share called media with my movies and tv folders. I really don’t have a need for a HD and SD folder but I wanted to use split level 3 to keep TV seasons together. Is there a way to get Couchpotato to only use HD or SD folders? I set the completed folder in couchpotato to ‘quality’/’movie title year’ but it creates specific subfolders like 720p or 1080 ect. Is there a way to make it only used the SD or HD? Or should I just move movies and TV to their own shares so I can use different split levels? Media share: \\tower\media\movies\HD\Movie Title\movie.ext \\tower\media\movies\SD\Movie Title\movie.ext \\tower\media\TV\Breaking Bad\Season 1\episode1.ext How exactly do failed downloads work? Will SAB notify Sickbeard or Couchpotato so they know it didn’t download or will it automatically attempt another versions? Should I just delete the NZB and files and re-add them in Sick/Couch? How do I tell what nzb indexer the files are found on? I read that you can mouse over to get details but I didn’t get anything, maybe its my browser?
May 26, 201313 yr the SABtoCouch script is a edited version of the SABtoSick script, so it does work the same, however i never saw the point in using it as it does the same thing as couchpotato itself.. the only difference is that CP scans the directory in intervals which may keep your drives active as were the script notify's CP only when nessecarry failed downloads will stay in the download directory and nothing else happens.. in SAB you can see which has failed and take manual action on it, there is no automated action as far as i know.. re-adding them will most likely result in another failed download so it is usually better to search manually on a nzb indexer for another version.. CP does handle this differently as you can select a different NZB if it found one, SB does not using split levels is something i don't do.. it is disabled and i use the high-water fill technique.. i have one share called "Multimedia" and just have Plex sort it all out.. the reason for this is simple, what will happen if your drive is nearly full and you start a new season.. maybe i am just thinking too simple, but unless you share multiple folders with different content with different users i don't see the point of using split levels at all
