What is wrong with NFS on unraid?

Featured Replies

I try to connect from an PCH A300 to my NFS-shares on my server.

The NFS security settings I use are:

Export: Yes

Security: Private

rule: *(ro,insecure)

Sometimes this works but often ir does not.

In Networked Media on my A300 I can browse to servers IP address, also enter the shares but sometimes it shows only empty folders. I have a folder named MKV with each movie in a separate sub-folder. All these subfolders are shown without problem, but entering these subfolders often shows "no content" on the A300.

I don't see this problem on a Qnap NAS which is also on the same network. Is it NFS playing tricks on me? Is my setup wrong? Or is NFS badly implemented in unraid.

Since QNAP works with unRAID it seems that the A300 has an NFS bug.

I didn''t say that the Qnap works wit unraid. What I meant to say was that browsing the Qnap with my A300 didn't give me the problems I saw when browsing the unraid server.
