That's the price of the 24 port RocketRAID card, so you're basically getting the motherboard for free (and proves that controller cards are overpriced). A more efficient board with a good PCIe x16 24-port controller would be more efficient, and a lot more flexible in it's configuration possibilities. Quote Link to comment
