June 7, 201313 yr There has been several times when I want to stop the array, and the server stars the process, but it becomes unresponsive. I cannot access the server via GUI or Telnet. I am running it headless and I don't have a monitor either. I am wondering if anyone else is having the same issue. I had to do a hard reset ( turn power off/on) and thereafter it starts doing a parity check. I never had this issues before. The only plugins running are power down, unmenu 1.6, and AirVideo.

My wife called me at work because she couldn't access the server after she stopped the array. That was yesterday. I had to do a hard reset and parity check. Then it did again in the morning. I just finished watching a movie, and wanted to turn it off, and it just did it again. So, I am reverting back to RC12a. Good thing I made a copy of everything for my RC12a.

June 7, 201313 yr Author I apologize. I supposed I should of read all of the announcement posts. Thanks. I will revert back to RC12a. It doesn't appear like there will be a 5.0 final anytime soon does it?
June 7, 201313 yr Apparently (from the issues thread) Tom is aware of this. From the number of issues with RC13, one has to wonder if v5 Final is as close as it looked just last week

I mainly use my server for storing my media and streaming it. All of my super duper important stuff is store else where . UnRaid has been good to me so far.

My media is all stored on a v4.7 system that's been rock solid for years; and my v5 system for all my images, backups (of everything but the media server, which is backed up independently), etc. has been very solid on v5 versions since about RC9 (when I built it). Whether the version on the latter is "final" or not doesn't matter to me, as long as it's rock solid in its data integrity.
