I decided that now bigger drives were available it was time to out all of my old smaller drives on ebay and get my two unraid machines down to 1 using SATA only this time instead of the mix that I had.

 

My new unraid has had the mobo changed to the MSI P45 Neo3-FR motherboard running a E2200 and a couple of gig of Corsair ram.

 

The mobo has 8 onboard Sata, 6 using ICH10 and the other 2 J Micron JMB363. The Jmicron ports work in 4.3.3 but I had to upgrade to 4.4b2 for the ICH10 ones to appear.

 

Been running for a few days now and all apears well. Currently running 10 disks with a couple off of a TX4, will be three more in a few days as I migrate data from my other unraid.

    I have been looking at that motherboard also, did you have to use another nic or did the the one on the motherboard work(Realtek 8111C)???

    The one on the mothrboard worked with 4.3.3 or 4.2b2.
