Unraid server unaccessible

Featured Replies

Hello all -

Recently built my unRaid server.  My setup is:

MSI 880GM-E35 MOMO

AMD Sempron 140

8gb kingston hyper x RAM

Parity: Seagate 2TB Green drive

Disk 1 and 2: Seagate 2TB 7200 RPM

Cache - WD 160GB

Had no problems until I installed SABnzbd and sickbeard.  Problem seems to occur during post-processing by Sickbeard, but it could be when SAB is unpacking - not sure.

Re-boot restores everything, but as soon as a download is complete and Sab and SB start their business, unMenu gets killed, etc.

Syslog says  Tower kernel: Out of memory: kill process 4003 (awk) score 75 or                                                                                                                                a child

I've attached the syslog right after re-boot.  Can anyone help me?  I upgraded the RAM from 2GB to 8GB, but that didn't help, so there has to be something else going on.

Thanks for your help!

Just guessing, since you didn't provide any real way to know for sure what's going on here, but I'd look at your settings for file locations in your add ons. Any file location that does not start with /mnt/user or /mnt/disk or /mnt/cache is going to be using ram, and will crash the system if it fills up.
