I've finally got around to trying the manual instructions for installing Flexget now that the unMenu version no lonmger installs and we don't have a plugin version.  Following these instructions:

 

pip install transmissionrpc

- is plugin of flexget for communication with transmission

for sure you use like others python 2.6

 

And more easy cannot be

 

You have to install in system "setuptools-0.6c11-py2.6.egg"

if already have

 

this 3 line

curl https://raw.github.com/pypa/pip/master/contrib/get-pip.py | python

pip install flexget

pip install transmissionrpc

 

install for you flexget with transmission support - that all.

 

Just you need put config file for flexget

 

I had a different version of setup tools installed through unMenu but I went ahead and installed the one mentioned in the post.  I then tried the next line and this is what I get no matter where I try and run the line from.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong ?  I'd also like the flexget files installed in the apps directory where the previous one was.  How do I tell it to do that ?

icic, it appears that the URL I was using to download the .egg file no longer exists.

So the install for this has changed quite a bit.  I am looking into it and will see what I can come up with.  I will likely update the unMenu package when I am done and then others can take it from there.  If they want to turn it into a 5.0 plugin more power to them.
