Unresponsive during parity check twice, but now working (maybe)

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have been using unRaid for a while now on my old hardware, but recently I finally put together my new computer and put the harddrives in there and everything was working extremely well.  So I decided I should do a parity check.  During the parity check, the system became completely unresponsive (webui, telnet, and at the computer itself).  After restarting the computer the parity check started again.  After about 10%, it became unresponsive again.

I'm currently at about 30% and it seems like everything might be ok, but I don't want to go on thinking everything is ok when it's not.  I currently have a telnet session open with the following command running "tail -f /var/log/syslog".

I would appreciate if someone could look over my current log and see if there is anything out of the ordinary.  I appreciate any help anyone can provide.  Thank you!

I'm currently on rc-15a.

Edit:

So it finished without any errors, but I still feel a bit uneasy about the 2 lockups.

The syslog does not show the end of the parity check. Attach a new syslog.
