I would like to purchase a UPS for my unraid server.

 

Which model would you recommend, and how do I get unraid to shut itself down in the event of a power failure?

    Yes, the UPS communicates with your UnRAID PC via a USB cable.

    IF you were going to have a VM setup with ESXi, then would recommend a Cyberpower UPS and get the VM Appliance.

    Nice, simple, just simply works for shutting down VMs and ESXi cleanly
