July 5, 201313 yr Periscope looks good for automatically downloading subtitles. Specially for Sickbeard which lacks subtitle download capability. There are instructions to install in Ubuntu... via an automated script, but I am not sure this will work in unRAID. Periscope Home: https://code.google.com/p/periscope/ Use Periscope w/ Sickbeard: http://wiki.ivonet.nl/display/LINUX/Howto+let+Sickbeard+autodownload+subtitles Periscope tries to match the subtitle to the scene release and/or hashes. So it should so a better job than manually searching-installing in XBMC. Any advice or help is appreciated... I rely on subtitles as I have moderate hearing loss. Thanks! H.
July 8, 201312 yr Author Anyone? The difficulty with this (for me) is to install the dependencies which are python-setuptools and python-beautifulsoup. And then somehow install the executable file into /usr/local/bin/periscope. Thanks, H.
December 28, 201312 yr I think it would be a very useful addon as well! If I could automate it to download from Addic7ed after post processing in SickBeard (when SABnzbd is done), it would be great!
