[Solved] Main GUI screen 'Used' and 'Total' gone

Featured Replies

Seem to be missing 'Used' column and 'Total' row in Device Status on the .../Main GUI screen

in 5.0-rc16c (it was missing in 16b also)

Haven't changed anything except my bzimage, bzroot, syslinux.cfg files on the stick.

Not sure what you're referring to -- the columns are the same as they've been for a long time (since v4.7).

Were you perhaps using Simple Features before?

No, I am confused.  Up until rc16b my Main screen had the 'Used' column between Size and Free, and the 'Total' line between my cache drive and my flash drive.

All I did was update the three files on the flash drive and restart, and now the Used column and the Total line are gone.

Any ideas on how to get them back?

That sounds like you were using unMENU rather than the stock GUI.

I've never had a used column on tower:80 but do have Used and Used % on tower:8080 (unmenu port)

Agree -- you were almost certainly using UnMenu, which shows exactly .what you've described r.e. the Totals.

Seems you've either not installed UnMenu; or are using a different shortcut that goes to Tower/Main instead of Tower:8080

No, the unMenu screen still shows that.  I'm talking about the 'Main' screen (xx.xx.xx.xx/Main), the default page when I type in the server IP.

I used to have Device, Identification, Temp, Size, Used, Free, Reads, Writes, Errors, View and a line for Total  Array of seven protected disks (between the Cache line and Flash line).

Now 'Used' is gone, View is gone (the folder icon is next to the Device), and the Total... line is gone.

I have printed screenshots from previous updates (5.0-rc10 in my hand) with the Used column and Total line.  I just don't know what happened between then and now.  My server has been pretty much static except for adding media files and updating unRaid...

Perhaps you had installed Simple Features (I don't know exactly what it shows, as I don't use it) ... but in any event, the main UnRAID GUI does NOT show those columns ... and I'm fairly sure never has.  It's certainly not on my v4.7 system nor on my RC16c system => and I don't recall it being on any of the earlier v5 Betas or RC's, although I didn't install all of them, so I can't say for sure.

I did, however, just to confirm, install RC10 (the version you referenced) on a small test system I have to be sure that specific version didn't have those columns ... and here's a screen shot of the main Web GUI:

Thanks, I must have installed Simple Features a while ago and forgot about it.  I'll play with it this evening and be sure.
