RC13 to RC16c?

Featured Replies

Is there a standard way of upgrading through the RC releases or is the upgrade process different for each one? Do I have to step through each of the releases for the upgrade?

I've experienced the "hard reboot necessary" issue that one of the others reported back on, and since then I intermittently get "specified network name is no longer available" errors right in the middle of writing a group of files, and I was hoping that the upgrade may fix this.

just copy bzimage and bzroot to the flashdrive, bring down the array and reboot.

In the middle of a parity check for the upgrade, I'm hoping that on shutdown, I don't get locked again when sync'ing...Yet another bug that I believe the upgrade should take care of. Thanks for the help

just copy bzimage and bzroot to the flashdrive, bring down the array and reboot.

Should also copy syslinux.cfg

No need to load the intermediate versions. You can go direct from rc13 to rc16c.

I see the differences in the syslinux.cfg are in the safe mode alternative boot option...will copy...thanks..
