December 1, 200817 yr I've had two 1tb Samsung drives RMA'ed back to Newegg in a row now. After the drive was formatted and rebuilt (it was replacing a smaller disk) into the unraid system, i began copying some data to it via the command line it began throwing errors. Putting this drive in a windows system to test, it threw SMART errors on boot. Two bad disks in a row sounds odd to me if they were from different batches. Do you all do any testing on a disk before you throw it into your array?
