Hi guys,

newbie here as you can probably tell!

I set my split levels wrong so filled up my third hard drive which has screwed me  up as it now appears to be read only and i cant delete anything.

My mysql db is on this drive too so it has really taken me out!

|Any advice greatly a[[reciated.

Thanks

=>  What version of UnRAID?

=>  What size is the disk?

=>  What size is the parity disk?

Okay ... my nickel's worth:

=>  I'm not a Linux guy, so hopefully Joe L, WeeboTech, Prostuff1, etc. will see this and let you know if there's a simple set of Linux commands to resolve it.    You may be able to run reiserfsck with the appropriate options to fix it ... but I don't know what those specific options would be.

=>  IF your system has good parity (run a parity check and confirm you get no errors), then a simple "workaround" is to simply replace the drive with a larger drive (you can use up to a 2TB drive).    UnRAID will automatically do a rebuild onto the new drive -- and it will have a LOT of free space when it's done  :)

One other thing:  Update to RC16c => there's a potential data loss bug in RC15a that's been corrected with the latest version.  You can do this before or after you run the parity check ... but definitely do it !!

Attach a syslog. zip if needed.

Sorry missed your post, is my post above sufficient?

Yes. Run reiserfsck...

Is there any guide to this as i am completely new to linux...

Cheers

Yes. Run reiserfsck...

Ignore that just seen your brilliant signature thanks...

Ran check and it wants a full tree rebuild :(

will update you all on completion

Glad  dgaschk  stepped in with the details r.e. reiserfsck.  As I noted in my first post, I was fairly sure this could be used to resolve this ... but didn't want to suggest parameters that may have proved to be wrong.  I had forgotten about the very useful links in dgaschk's signature  :)
