July 12, 201312 yr Hello I recently post regarding a parity check failure, as a result of advice given here that issue appears to be rectified having completed another parity check only a day ago. My reason for this post is I just feel the box is not performing as it used to, I appear to constantly have an exterior red LED showing which moves from drive to drive even if the box is not being accessed. The orange access indicator appears to be running when again the box is not in use. I don't appear to be able to power down all the drives. Access times appear to be much much slower (WD2TEARS) drives . Finally it seems files are being put in places not previously selected by me. July 14, 201312 yr Author Hello Thanks for your reply, I am not sure what I am doing with BIOS and stuff like that. Can you advise me where to look for this stuff please. And how to fix it. Thanks Peter
