July 14, 201312 yr Messed up my boot VMDK. Copied the syslinux.exe by mistake instead of the syslinux.cfg Now it hangs at syslinux. I did copy to a subfolder the original files. Just not sure how to connect to it since unRaid is not coming up.
July 14, 201312 yr Since you are running ESXI according to you sig, you can just open the VMware Vsphere Client and attach the unraid boot vmdk to another VM. You can then make edits to the VMDK. PS: If you don't have another VM, you can create one or use the unraid boot vm and use a live CD/ISO and boot from it.
July 14, 201312 yr Author Thanks. Tried it before but other VM didn't come up. Was missing that I had to remove the VMDK from unRaid before bringing up the other VM. I'm good to go now.
