Good day Crew,

 

Today I added an admin account with read/write permissions

 

Then I switched SMB Security Settings security from public to secure and gave the admin read/write

 

As expected, anyone can now go to //tower/share and READ the files

 

1 - On my windows machine (7) I do not seem to be able to prompt a mapping to login as admin... hence I cannot write to the share.  How to I enter the login info for an admin user

 

2 - On any machine I can still navigate through the network to read/write/delete files from FLASH, Disk1, Disk2, etc.  How do I disable this (from a curious wife/child destruction)?

    2. Click on the device link on the left side of unRAID Main.
