[SOLVED] New parity disk is not starting to build

Featured Replies

After changing parity disk with a larger one, it says "not installed" under "main" though when I look under Disk devices it says:

"parity device: pci-0000:00:1f.2-scsi-4:0:0:0 host7 (sdh) ST3000DM001-9YN166_S1F14GTZ"

Post a picture of the Web GUI (the "Main" tab).

Are you running the latest release?  [v5RC16c]

Sounds to me like you are running unRAID 4.7.  (5.X does not have a "Devices" tab.)

unRAID 4.7 does not support 3TB drives.  You'll need to upgrade to use that disk.

We can give more specific advice if you tell us what version of unRAID you are using.

Thank you for your swift answers. I am running unRaid 4.7, so I must upgrade to support 3 TB disks!
