I haven't not had to post in a while with unraid running so smoothly.

But I noticed I have a disk failing and about to replace it.    Does anyone know of or can recommend a plugin to get an email alert on a failing drive?

I setup my notifications to be sent to my phone via text. [email protected] allows for the entire message to be sent, not truncated at 160 chars.

How did I never know you could do this? This is awesome! I never even set anything up and I can email my phone number!

I have no idea what I would use this for.

email is so old hat now :)

pushover or a variant are far superior

Can you elaborate on this please?

Is that for Verizon Wireless numbers only?

Do you talk to smtp.vzwpix.com directly, or do you have go through some other smtp server?

I'm sure other carriers have a similar system in place. I believe that sending to the above address uses MMS vs. the shorter max length SMS.

The SMTP setup on the server is using my gmail account info. smtp.gmail.com, 587, username: [email protected], and my password.
