July 23, 201312 yr Is there a reason why unaligned is an option for new disks? Obviously legacy unaligned disks must be supported but no new unaligned disks need be added. Removing this option will simplify the interface.
July 29, 201312 yr People might still have older unaligned disks to put in? You've not read, or completely understood the issue. ALL disks can start their partition on sector 64. There is no longer any need for any new disk to be partitioned to start on sector 63 unless you intended to remove it and use it ( with the data intact ) on a very old version of unRAID that only recognized disks partitioned on sector 63. (unRAID prior to 4.7 only partitioned disks for sector 63. )
