a line in the install log of shellinabox makes both utils>syslog and my plugin control panel keeps refreshing.

/bin/bash /tmp/shellinaboxd-install ... Saving Settings...Completed<br> Applying Settings...Starting shellinaboxd...Completed<br><html><head><script>var goback=parent.location;</script></head><body onLoad="parent.location=goback;"></body></html>success

I will take a look when I get a chance, but i don't think I am doing anything funky. The only different thing I am doing is loading an iframe.

Love this plugin.... working great; very useful to me. Thank you for this!

Is there an easy way to change the color of the shell to a black background with white text? Not a big deal, just a habitual thing.

Many thanks again.

It can, with a css style sheet I believe.

I just messed with it in via the developer tools in Chrome and was able to change the background-color to black and the color to white on the text.  It looks like there is a .css file already included to turn the background black and text white.

If you change line 62 to look like:

echo "cd /tmp && /usr/local/bin/shellinaboxd --background=/var/run/shellinaboxd/shellinaboxd.pid -s /:LOGIN --port=$PORT --css /usr/local/share/doc/shellinabox/white-on-black.css" | at now

then you will get the black background and white text

OK, so a little more digging and it looks like user css files can be specified and will show up when you right click in the window.

I will be updating the plugin in a bit to give some defaults and then you should be able to specify other .css files to give different colors

First post has been updated with the new plugin.

There is also a css file attached to give an example.

Thank you Prostuff... Mine is still showing white, but I suspect a reboot of my unRAID will fix it. I just have to finish pre-clearing a 4TB drive... This is very appreciated.

It might be a stuck style sheet, try closing and opening the window and or changing from "Normal" to "White" a couple times.
