Yet another "web interface inaccessible" issue [RESOLVED]

Featured Replies

Running the latest RC (5.0-rc16c), attached is a copy of the syslog.

I've tried manually restarting a few times, rebooting server, updating to latest RC, etc.  No results, I can access unmenu no problem, just can't get to the web interface.  This is a brand new USB key (last one started having issues), but I checked for errors on it anyway, none found.

Any advice? Hopefully not to start a totally clean install..

edit: I removed the plugins for SimpleFeatures and cache_dirs, simply because it looked like SF wasn't installing and I don't really need cache_dirs, just to make sure they weren't interfering with anything.  Same results though after reboot.

Pretty certain it is one of your add-ons that is causing the issue.

I'm seeing emhttp stop at this line:

emhttp_read_line: emhttp_read_line: input line too long

but I've never seen that error before.

Only thing I can suggest is to disable one of your add-ons at a time until you can reboot.

So I just disabled my usenet addons (sickbeard, sab, etc) and it seems to be working now.  It was probably due to a misconfiguration on my part.

I wasn't able to find anything on that error either, but funnily enough it still shows up in the syslog now even when the web interface works.  Odd.

edit: for anyone with a similar problem, I believe the issue is I configured my 'data' directory for sickbeard/sab/couch/etc to ONLY use the cache drive, but then I pointed the configuration files to the SMB share (i.e. /mnt/user/data/sickbeard).  It's supposed to be pointed to /mnt/cache/data/sickbeard.  I'm manually editing the configuration files for the addons and that should resolve it.
