[Solved]Unable to access //tower[needed to be smarter]

Featured Replies

New to unRAID, just built and started using it last night, so i am very much new to all this. I have skimmed the forums a bit, and have found no reason as to why it wouldn't work.

I am able to access the server via the IP address, however i cannot access through  //tower nor  //tower:8080 (unmenu is installed) neither through a web browser nor telnet, just the IP.

When using //tower in web browser it goes to the standard random ISP web search page.

When using //tower:8080 in web browser it gives "connection has timed out, server at tower is taking too long to respond"

Have unRAID Server 4.7 installed (currently free version, till I can make sure I am able to properly use it).

I am not using a Mac.

syslog attached

any help appreciated.
