Unraid Plugins causing server to malfunction

Featured Replies

Hello everyone.  I wanted to post this problem here because I can't seem to figure out why this is happening to me.

Basically, I have unRaid server version 5.0-rc16c and I am trying to install a plugin file (.plg).  In this example, we will say that I am trying to install the CoachPotato plugin.

I can install the plugin just fine and then I can pull up the web page and it works.  HOWEVER, shortly after everything starts breaking.  Here are some symptoms.

- My network share goes down, so I can no longer access my folder that I have shared on my network.

- My other installed applications will no longer work on a web page. (these were not installed in .plg form, they were installed through Pkg Manager and installpkg cmds.

- Shortly after everything stops working, including the plugin I just installed.

I recently upgraded my firmware on unRAID because I was having these problems with a 4.xxx version, thinking the firmware upgrade would fix.

As soon as I remove my plugin file and reboot, all problems go away and things go back to normal.

Anyone have any idea what could be going on here?

How much memory do you have? A log would be nice.
