APCUPSC misisng from PKG manager

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've hooked up a new APC BR550GI instead of the previous dump UPS I had.

Tried to install the apcupsd package but right after update of the configuration the uMenu stalled. After I've brought it up again, No more apcupsd package on the package manager list. It's gone.

Any idea what could possibly be the problem for this?

I'm running Ver. 4.7

Thanks,

Haim

Try the update unmenu button and do all updates sound like you might have a older version.

I have the latest:

UNMENU_RELEASE $Revision: 269 $ $Date: 2013-06-04 11:24:15 -0400 (Tue, 04 Jun 2013)

An update should restore any missing packages.

You can try telnetting in and verifying the apcupsd unmenu package exists in your /boot/packages folder, then restart unmenu from the user scripts page.  This will allow it to reread the config files and should make the package reappear.

I had a backup of conf files. among them apcupsd-3.14.10-unmenu-package.conf

i've copy it to the package directory, download the package and installed it.

Thanks everybody
