Next Stable

Featured Replies

Sooo.... Is there any talk of a stable release coming out soon? It has been over two years and there hasn't been a new "stable" release out yet. Honestly, unRAID version 4.7 is solid, and realistically that is what I paid for, but why isn't there a new stable release out by now? Is there not a timeline or set of goals posted on the website to display what needs to be accomplished for a "stable" release? I see there have been many "beta" releases, but I am not looking for "beta" releases. Plus, the blog seems outdated and there isn't much talk on the forums from LimeTech about anything.

Thanks!

As stated elsewhere on the forums, Tom is working on updating the Wiki documentation. Once that is done, he'll release 5.0-stable into the wild.

Yes, it's taking a bit of time, but wouldn't you rather have a stable release together with complete and up-to-date documentation?

I'd rather just a stable, supported release.

I'd rather it have full documentation personally. Don't mind waiting for that.
